New Student Class Descriptions:
Are you interested in taking Pilates group classes on the Reformer? This is your starting point! Our “Intro to Reformer” series of 3 classes meets for one hour each week for 3 weeks. We offer our Group Reformer Intro Series on several different days and times each month so you can choose what works best for your schedule.
In the class, you will learn in a small group setting with other new students, the basic principals and foundations of Pilates. We will show you how to adjust the settings on the equipment for your body, and give individual support and adjustments where needed. These classes are small, and a supportive learning environment where everyone is a beginner. The goal is to have you ready to jump in to any of our Group Reformer classes on the schedule once you complete the intro series! These classes are progressive, each week building on the last, and its necessary to complete all 3 sessions before entering one of our Group Reformer classes on the regular schedule. This package is the ultimate immersion into learning just what it is your body needs! This is 4 one-hour private sessions focused on helping you learn the Pilates method, the principals and foundations, and adapting the exercises to your specific needs. After our initial health history and goals review, we will do a posture and movement analysis to learn what areas of focus would be best for you. We will work at your pace and cover all the basics, working on all the various Pilates equipment for a well-rounded experience into the journey of what Pilates can do for your body!
Have you always wanted to take a yoga class but feel unsure of trying it for the first time in a group setting? You can choose to take 4 one-hour private yoga sessions for personalized instruction and learning. Try out yoga in a quite, private setting with the support of a knowledgeable teacher who will guide you thru all the basic postures. You will receive instruction in all the basic yoga postures that would be used in a class, and be given any necessary gentle hands on adjustments, that will allow you to feel the correct alignment in your own body. This will prepare you for entering any of our group yoga classes, as well as a starting point for your own home practice.
Ready to jump right in and get started with group classes? This is our best package to focus on trying all the classes you like in 30 days! It includes all of our *Group Fitness Classes:
Pilates Mat, Yoga, Barre, TRX, Jump-Fit, and HIIT. You can take as many classes as you like, as often as you like to really gain the full benefits and experience our classes have to offer. All of our Group Fitness classes are based in Pilates, and you will always receive the highest quality instruction from our certified teachers. Our classes are kept small to maintain an intimate interaction with our students, and our teachers are ready to answer all of your questions and to help you with the proper form as you execute the movements so that you get the most out of it and stay safe. We are happy to help you choose which class might be best for you based on your fitness goals/. We’re here to help and look forward to having you in class!
